چکیده
In the present work, analysis of concrete pavements using ANSYS software has been attempted. is a finite element method-based software. The slab modeled with solid 45 brick and spring elements for soil. Analysis was carried out wide range load soil combination. as “Winkler type” represented by elastic springs their stiffness derived from modulus sub-grade reaction. influence any particular base or sub on edge stresses not studied here. model will be then subjected to number varying input parameters like change in thickness pavement slab, material winkler foundation, elasticity adding metal chips different percentage 10%, 20%, 30% also intensity loads. It aimed compare study classical approach Westergaards IRC 58- 2002 method. equation under estimate wheel when compared those obtained ANSYS. For generating charts, loading condition considered which critical case stresses. Also, it results given 58 – design charts. Design charts were developed thesis work yield same value that

Galerkin Finite-Element Method for the Analysis of the Second Harmonic Generation in Wagon Wheel Fibers
The nonlinear effects of the second harmonic generation have been investigated for the propagation of light along the axis of fibers of wagon wheel cross sectional shape. Nodal finite element formulation is utilized to obtain discretized Helmholtz equations under appropriate boundary conditions. The hierarchical p-version nodal elements are used for meshing the cross section of wagon wheel fibe...

Finite Element Analysis of Different Hip Implant Designs along with Femur under Static Loading Conditions
Background: The hip joint is the largest joint after the knee, which gives stability to the whole human structure. The hip joint consists of a femoral head which articulates with the acetabulum. Due to age and wear between the joints, these joints need to be replaced with implants which can function just as a natural joint. Since the early 19th century, the hip joint arthroplasty has evolved, a...
متن کاملFinite element modeling of environmental effects on rigid pavement deformation
In this study, finite element (FE)-based primary pavement response models are employed for investigating the early-age deformation characteristics of jointed plain concrete pavements ( JPCP) under environmental effects. The FE-based ISLAB (two-and-one-half-dimensional) and EverFE (three-dimensional) software were used to conduct the response analysis. Sensitivity analyses of input parameters us...
